Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 base (OTE £75,000 – £100,000)
Flexible hours: e.g. 7:30–4:30 or similar

Overview

An established and highly successful recruitment business within the Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Research sectors is seeking an experienced Recruitment Team Leader (or ambitious Senior Consultant / Talent Acquisition Manager looking to step up) to join their UK operation.

With a strong reputation across the UK, US, and EU markets, this is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a mature, dynamic, and high-performing environment. The UK team is well-established and continuing to grow, offering genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role

You will lead and motivate a team of consultants and account managers, supporting them to deliver high-quality recruitment solutions across the life sciences and medical markets. This is not a traditional 360 model — teams are structured into:

  • Resourcing (candidate generation and management)

  • Account Management (client relationship management and delivery)

  • Business Development (sales and new client acquisition)

The role focuses on team leadership, mentoring, process excellence, and performance management — ideal for someone who enjoys developing others and creating a culture of accountability and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters or account managers

  • Oversee delivery across key client accounts (typically £80k–£100k spend)

  • Drive high standards in candidate quality, client service, and process efficiency

  • Work closely with other division heads to ensure collaboration and consistency

  • Support training and onboarding of new team members

  • Contribute to strategic growth of the UK business

About You

  • Proven leadership or mentoring experience within recruitment, RPO, or talent acquisition

  • Background in life sciences or technical recruitment helpful, but not essential

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence, guide, and motivate

  • Commercially aware, process-driven, and comfortable in a challenging environment

  • Degree preferred but not mandatory

  • Stable career history and a genuine desire for long-term progression

What is on Offer

  • Competitive base salary (£40–45K, higher for exceptional candidates)

  • Realistic OTE £75–100K

  • Flexible working hours and hybrid working (3 days in office)

  • Supportive, high-energy culture with recognition and rewards

  • Career longevity — not a revolving-door environment

  • Core Values Awards and performance recognition across teams

Ideal For

  • Recruitment Team Leaders ready to grow in a structured business

  • Senior Recruiters or Talent Acquisition professionals ready to step into leadership

  • 360 Recruiters who enjoy delivery and team development more than sales

  • Talent Acquisition
