The Role

Assignment Handling

Leading the research strategy to proactively generate candidates using OBIS, external databases, research, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and sourcing techniques

Qualifying and sifting advertising responses and conducting initial telephone screening to identify suitable candidates to create the long list

Preparing Progress Reports, providing feedback on the market, and offering intelligence on how a client’s role is being perceived

Carrying out all candidate interviews, writing Candidate Reports, and delivering short-list presentations, promoting candidates to clients

Managing candidates through the process, from initial approach, actively selling the opportunity, through to the offer stage and referencing

Project managing the life cycle of the search process and taking full accountability for the client relationship.

Overview

A Delivery Consultant will proactively support a Partner in the day-to-day delivery of assignments.  Whilst not responsible for winning their work, Delivery Consultants will be attributed a percentage of the assignment fee. It is expected that this will be 60-70% of the total amount once established in the role.

A Delivery Consultant will have a minimum of two years’ workplace experience in an aligned sector; for example, in talent acquisition or a contingent recruitment role.

They should have ambitions to be a targeted fee-earner and see this as an opportunity to make that transition. This role is suited to someone who values the opportunity to consult and develop relationships with clients, where you will deliver important work through exceptional service.

OBIS – adhere to best practice, ensuring all information is shared, updates are added, and proactively and continually improving the quality of candidate and client information held

Develop a personal profile and outstanding market intelligence, ensuring that you become a recognised and respected recruiter, both internally and externally

Action unsolicited CVs that are relevant to the specialism being developed

Maintain contact with past candidates, especially those shortlisted on assignments you were part of

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and interact at the most senior level

Develop consulting skills and take ownership of the full assignment delivery

Identify opportunities through excellent candidate interactions that could lead to new client relationships and future business

Promote the clients reputation through effective candidate and client handling that consistently promotes, protects, and extends our reputation, recognising that talented people are our lifeblood

Develop a market segmentation that will create an opportunity to become a fee-earning Consultant
