Location: Brentwood, Essex (Office-Based Full Time)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Commission: Uncapped, up to 17.5%
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their healthcare division.

This is a true 360 recruitment role requiring an individual who can manage, develop, and grow their own desk while building long-term relationships with NHS clients and healthcare professionals.

The company is looking for ambitious recruiters who want to build a long-term career within a stable and successful business.

Sector Specialism

Candidates must have proven experience recruiting within NHS Locum Healthcare and a strong understanding of:

  • Locum Doctors

  • Consultants

  • A&E Professionals

  • General Medicine

  • Specialist Medical Locums

  • Nursing Professionals

Please note: Healthcare recruitment experience is essential. Candidates from Social Care recruitment backgrounds will not be considered.

Framework Experience

The successful candidate must have experience working within NHS frameworks and understand framework-based healthcare recruitment.

Examples include:

  • HealthTrust Europe

  • Crown Commercial Service

  • Workforce Alliance

Please note: Candidates with experience solely recruiting through Matrix or Comensura-managed accounts will not be suitable for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a full 360 recruitment desk

  • Developing new and existing NHS client relationships

  • Sourcing, interviewing, and placing healthcare professionals

  • Managing framework requirements and compliance processes

  • Building a sustainable pipeline of candidates and vacancies

  • Negotiating placements and securing repeat business

  • Working closely with compliance and support teams to ensure all placements meet regulatory requirements

  • Growing and maximising desk revenue

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as a billing Recruitment Consultant

  • NHS Locum healthcare recruitment experience is essential

  • Strong knowledge of NHS frameworks

  • Commercially driven with a proactive business development mindset

  • Compliance-focused and detail-oriented

  • Looking for long-term career growth within an established business

  • Able to work effectively within a full-time office environment
