  • Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30

  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:30

This is a full-time office-based position based in Brentford. Hybrid or remote working is not available.

The Opportunity

An established healthcare recruitment business is seeking experienced Recruitment Consultants to join its Medical Locums division.

These are warm desks with existing business, active bookings, established client relationships and a live candidate base. Successful consultants will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.

The organisation operates across healthcare staffing and related service areas and has established relationships throughout both NHS and private healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing client and candidate relationships

  • Source, attract and place Medical Locum professionals

  • Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate generation through to placement and aftercare

  • Work with NHS and private healthcare organisations

  • Manage compliance and onboarding processes

  • Utilise vendor management systems and client portals

  • Achieve and exceed billing and performance targets

  • Develop long-term client partnerships and candidate networks

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience recruiting temporary Medical Locums

  • Strong knowledge of NHS staffing environments and framework recruitment

  • Experience supplying through NHS framework agreements

  • Experience using NHS vendor management systems and client portals

  • Good understanding of Medical Locum compliance requirements

  • Proven experience managing both client and candidate relationships

  • Experience operating within a full 360 recruitment role

  • Strong business development and account management skills

  • Commercial awareness and a results-driven approach

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • A proactive and resilient attitude

Unsuitable Backgrounds

This opportunity is unlikely to suit:

  • Candidates seeking remote or hybrid working arrangements

  • Candidates outside a reasonable daily commuting distance of Brentford

  • Recruitment Resourcers, Delivery Consultants or Candidate Consultants without full 360 recruitment experience

  • Recruiters without recent Medical Locums recruitment experience

  • Candidates seeking management-only or non-billing roles

  • Individuals unwilling to undertake business development activity

  • Candidates unable to work on a full-time office-based basis

Commission Structure

  • Monthly commission payments

  • Uncapped earnings potential
