Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Search Consultant to join a dynamic and growing business. This role is focused on delivering end-to-end executive search assignments across senior leadership positions, working closely with clients to identify, attract, and secure top-tier executive talent.

The position combines market intelligence, strategic advisory, and relationship management. It requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to operate with discretion when engaging at senior levels.

You will manage the full lifecycle of executive search mandates, from initial client consultation and role scoping through to candidate identification, assessment, offer negotiation, and successful placement. You will also provide valuable insight into market trends, talent strategies, and best-practice approaches to executive recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Partner with clients to understand organisational needs, leadership challenges, and ideal executive profiles

  • Agree and manage search processes, including timelines, milestones, and communication plans

  • Provide ongoing market insight, talent intelligence, and strategic advice throughout the search lifecycle

  • Manage client expectations through clear communication and regular progress updates

Executive Search Delivery

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify and map high-calibre executive talent

  • Proactively engage senior-level professionals, including passive candidates

  • Assess candidates against role requirements, leadership capability, and cultural fit

  • Present high-quality, thoroughly evaluated candidate shortlists to clients

Candidate Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior professionals

  • Manage confidential and speculative candidate discussions

  • Secure candidate commitment for representation

  • Coordinate interview processes, gather feedback, and manage the candidate experience

  • Lead offer negotiations and support placements through to completion

Commercial & Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross-market opportunities

  • Recognise and maximise revenue opportunities through strong market awareness

  • Contribute to the development of long-term client and candidate relationships

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in executive search, senior recruitment, or a consultative sales environment

  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at board and C-suite level

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex offers

  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
