Senior Transport Consultant

Location: Needwood HQ, DE13 9PD (Midlands coverage)

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 DOE

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Transport / Senior Transport Consultant to join a growing team based at our Needwood HQ. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a large and high-potential Midlands patch, covering key locations including Burton, Derby, Birmingham, and Milton Keynes.

The role offers strong long-term progression, with the opportunity to build and develop your own division and progress into a Business Manager position over time.

Key Responsibilities

·        Managing and developing a client base across the Midlands region

·        Maintaining existing client relationships while driving new business growth

·        Identifying and securing new opportunities within the transport and logistics sector

·        Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to placement

·        Building a strong pipeline of candidates and clients

·        Working towards and achieving revenue and activity targets

·        Contributing to the long-term growth of the division with a view to leadership

About You

·        Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within transport or logistics (senior level for experienced hires)

·        Strong business development and client management skills

·        Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress into a leadership role

·        Ability to manage a large geographical patch effectively

·        Excellent communication and negotiation skills

·        Target-driven with a proactive approach to growth
