Job Title: Team Leader (Education Recruitment)

Location: Oxford Circus, London                                                                                                                                                                      
Salary: £45,000+ (depending on experience) + commission & bonus
Contract: Full-time, permanent (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, shift patterns between 7am and 6pm

About the Role

Our client, a successful and growing education recruitment company based in Oxford Circus, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join their team. This is a billing role, where you will both manage a team of Education Consultants and run a small desk yourself.

The Team Leader will drive team performance, support professional development, and ensure exceptional service is delivered to clients and candidates alike.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Education Consultants to achieve individual and team targets.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance performance and productivity.

Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to support professional growth.

Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and set improvement goals.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring high satisfaction.

Analyse market trends and industry changes to inform strategy and decision-making.

Work closely with senior management to align team objectives with company growth plans.

Act as a point of escalation, resolving challenges within the team effectively.

  • About You

    Proven experience as a Senior/Executive Consultant or in a Team Leader/Managerial role within education recruitment.

    Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.

    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    In-depth knowledge of the education sector and its challenges/opportunities.

    Proficient in recruitment processes, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

    Strong analytical ability with experience in performance monitoring and strategy development.

    Highly organised with effective time management skills.

    Proactive, results-driven, and committed to delivering outstanding service.
