Location: Dublin, Ireland
Role Overview This is a senior leadership role to establish and scale a new business in Ireland. The successful individual will be responsible for building the operation from scratch and driving its commercial success.
This role sits at a partner level and works directly with the company’s leadership team. The focus is on recruiting within AI software engineering and AI infrastructure, while building and scaling a high-performing team.
This is not an account management role. It is a hands-on, commercial, leadership role with full P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Business Build and Strategy - Establish the Irish operation from the ground up - Define and execute the local go-to-market strategy - Build the brand and market presence within AI software engineering, AI platforms, and data centre infrastructure - Align the local operation with global markets and strategies
Recruitment and Revenue Generation - Recruit directly in target markets and deliver revenue through personal contribution - Win and develop client relationships across AI platforms, hyperscalers, cloud providers, and data centre operators - Build long-term partnerships with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders
Leadership and Team Build - Build and lead the Irish recruitment team from day one - Hire, manage, and develop consultants as the business scales - Coach team members on market approach, delivery standards, and client engagement - Create a high-performance, 360-degree focused culture
Commercial Ownership - Full ownership of the local P&L - Responsibility for forecasting, budgeting, and growth planning - Work closely with leadership on investment decisions, hiring plans, and expansion strategy
Candidate Profile
Essential - Minimum five years’ experience in a full 360 recruitment role with team management - Proven track record of billing and winning new clients - Background recruiting within AI software engineering, platform engineering, or data centre markets - Strong desire to build and lead a team and grow a business, beyond a purely biller mindset - Commercially driven with ambition to operate at a senior level
Desirable - Experience scaling or launching a new market, desk, or office - Exposure to AI infrastructure, hyperscalers, or data centre environments
Personal Attributes - Builder mindset with high ownership mentality - Comfortable operating in greenfield environments - Ambitious, resilient, and long-term focused - Confident operating at partner and founder level
