- £60,000 – £100,000 (depending on experience)

- Transparent commission structure (up to one-third of billings, less salary costs)

Our client is a highly respected executive search firm with over 55 years’ heritage in finance recruitment. Their established finance practice is successful, well-regarded, and currently operating at full capacity.

 

Finance professionals with strong commercial acumen remain in high demand, and this practice focuses on delivering high-quality, retained search solutions to organisations where finance plays a true strategic business partnering role.

 

Following a recent departure, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Lead to join the team, working closely with the Head of Practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of sectors across the UK (outside London) and internationally.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter already operating in executive search—or someone looking to deepen their experience in a retained environment—within a mature, delivery-focused culture.

The Role

As a Consultant, you will:

- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients through strategic business development, networking, and personal branding

- Provide market insight, contribute to pitches, and support wider business development activity

- Interpret client briefs and deliver commercially sound, consultative solutions

- Manage senior candidates with care and professionalism

- Take full ownership of assignments from briefing through to completion

- Organise and deliver events that connect clients and senior finance professionals

- Build a strong personal brand within your specialist market

- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

- Produce high-quality, insightful written documentation

 

About You

- Proven experience in finance recruitment (essential)

- Experience within executive search (required)

- A collaborative mindset with a focus on quality and delivery

- An experienced recruiter seeking a more consultative, value-led environment

- Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor to senior clients

- Intellectually strong, self-motivated, and proactive

- Able to build credibility and long-term relationships

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
